The Department of Physics at the University of Cologne provides a parent–child room to support a family-friendly working environment. It offers a flexible backup option for combining work and childcare in urgent situations (e.g. childcare gaps or exceptional circumstances). The room is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
