After a very intense preparation phase, our Cluster of Excellence proposal, Dynaverse- Our Dynamic Universe, was presented at the Wissenschaftszentrum Bonn on Thursday, January 23rd . Therefore, Prof. Dr. Stefanie Walch-Gassner and Prof. Dr. Cristiano Porciani would like to take this opportunity to thank all excellent scientists and supporting staff of our Dynaverse team that have joined together in this endeavor to deepen our understanding of the dynamic evolution of our Universe, in particular the University of Cologne and the University of Bonn as well as the cooperation institutions, the Forschungszentrum Jülich, the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy, the German Aerospace Center, the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies.
It was exciting to discuss our ideas and strategies with the international reviewer panel and we would like to thank them for their valuable time too.
The interdisciplinary team of Dynaverse from Astrophysics, Computer Science and Mathematics, who combine expertise in high-performance computing, and data-analytics, are highly motivated to generate new ground-breaking opportunities! Let’s hope for the best on May 22nd!
