Astroinformatics 2026 at the University of Cologne

We are pleased to announce that Astroinformatics 2026 will be hosted by Prof. Dr. Stefanie Walch-Gassner at the University of Cologne, with Dr. Kai Polsterer from the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies gGmbH (HITS) serving as co-host.

The conference will take place within the framework of the Key Profile Area “Dynamics of the Universe” and the DYNAVERSE Cluster of Excellence. It continues the successful conference series dedicated to the latest advances in computational methods for processing and analyzing astronomical data, bringing together experts from astrophysics, data science, and related fields.
