This Monday, the second mirror of the Fred Young Submillimeter Telescope has been lifted successfully and is now being installed. We expect to hear more soon!
Handling such a fragile piece is a delicate task and will be celebrated during the inauguration event on April, 9th starting at 4 pm CEST. A live stream for this event is publicly available. Among several speakers from Germany are Prof. Riechers (University of Cologne) and Prof. Bertoldi (University Bonn) who belong to the CCAT Board of Directors. The whole program can be found here.
